1 - Introduction to Modelling Public Safety Radio Applications with HTZ warfare - Land Mobile Radio
ATDI has developed dedicated features for modeling Land Mobile Radio applications adhering to TSB-88 specifications.
These features include but are not limited to:
- Importing US Federal Assignments from the Government Master File (GMF) onto a three-dimensional cartographic workspace.
- Utilizing government source digital terrain models for propagation analysis.
- Offering the user the options of using a variety of propagation models including but not limited to the
P2P implementation of the Irregular Terrain Model (aka Longley Rice) or the COST-231 or Okumura Hata
- Utilizing the TSB-88 compression and interpretation of the clutter derived from the USGS National Land Cover Database
- Generating talk out and talk back coverage plots
- Designation of Frequency Dependent Rejection curves for spectral analysis of Digital/Analog Wideband/Narrowband systems specific
to the equipment manufacturer's specifications or from NTIA Redbook/FCC default specifications.
- Frequency Plan Validation - streamlined report comparing a proposed channel plan for an LMR station(s) against the existing Federal
assignments to identify frequency conflicts with other agencies.
